History of HINO Trucks

Some HINO Truck Operator Manuals & Service Manual PDF above the page - LT0013, V18, W04, W06 Engine Manual.

HINO is Japan's largest truck and bus manufacturer.

The history of the Japanese company Hino dates back to 1910, when Tokyo Gas Industry Co., Ltd, a light truck manufacturer, was established.

In 1942 Hino Heavy Industry was formed, later renamed Hino Motors Industry.

Successful development in the automotive market allowed the company to enter into a bilateral agreement with Toyota, which made it part of the global Toyota Group corporation.

Actually, from this time the real history of HINO begins, the history of the development and modernization of production and products.

By the beginning of the XXI century, the company had achieved such success that the total annual output of products of foreign assembly enterprises was already about 90 thousand units of trucks, which were delivered to 100 countries of the world - while the price of a Hino truck was very competitive compared to local commercial vehicles.

HINO aims to produce high-quality products, as well as increase productivity, which is facilitated by Toyota's production system, adapted and implemented in HINO.
