RENAULT ZF Fault Codes DTC. Defect type (FMI).

 

- 00: The data are fit, but above the normal operating range

 

- 01: These are suitable, but under the normal operating range

 

- 02: Data uneven, intermittent or incorrect

 

- 03: the rated voltage or short circuit to +

 

- 04: The voltage below the nominal or short circuit on -

 

- 05: The current strength below the nominal or short circuit

 

- 06: The current strength above the nominal or circuit shorted to ground

 

- 07: mechanical system response is incorrect

 

- 08: Abnormal frequency, pulse width or period

 

- 09: Abnormal cooling speed

- 10: Abnormal variation tempo

 

- 11: Not identified type of failure

 

- 12: Fault computing peripheral or component

 

- 13: Adjust the calibration outside

 

- 14: Special Instructions

 

- 15: The data are fit, but above the normal operating range (a very weak degree of importance)

FMI code Problem repair indicator light signal

 

SPN 4001 FMI 5 solenoid to the air tank, a short to ground. Check valve (80-140 ohms) check the cable connections between the unit and the component (34, 1) check the control unit. The repairs. Active.

FMI 6 Solenoid air receiver circuit. Check valve (80-140 ohms) check the cable connections between the unit and the component (34, 1) check the control unit. The repairs. Active.

FMI 10 Solenoid-air receiver, the open circuit. Check valve (80-140 ohms) check the cable connections between the unit and the component (34, 1) check the control unit. The repairs. Active.

 

SPN 4008 FMI 5 Power handle, short to ground. Check handle verify the cable connections between the unit and the component (30), test control unit. Problem handle. Active.

FMI 6 Power handle circuit. Check handle verify the cable connections between the unit and the component (30), test control unit. Problem handle. Active.

 

SPN 4009 FMI 5 Proportional solenoid valve, a short to ground. Check proportional electrovalve (20-100 ohms), to verify the cable connections between the unit and the component (4), check the control block. Failure or intardervyshel down. Active.

FMI 6 Proportional solenoid closure. Check proportional electrovalve (20-100 ohms), to verify the cable connections between the unit and the component (4), check the control block. Failure or intardervyshel down. Active.

FMI 9 Proportional solenoid, an incorrect resistance. Check proportional electrovalve (20-100 ohms), to verify the cable connections between the unit and the component (4), check the control block. Active.

FMI 10 Proportional solenoid, open circuit. Check proportional electrovalve (20-100 ohms), to verify the cable connections between the unit and the component (4), check the control block.  Active.

SPN 4010 FMI 5 Check the proportional solenoid valve, a short to ground. Check proportional electrovalve (20-100 ohms), to verify the cable connections between the unit and the component (3), check the control block. Active.

SPN 4013 FMI 7 temperature sensor circuit cooling system circuit. Check the temperature sensor (0-100 ohms) check the connections between the unit and the component (9, 37), test control unit. Active.

FMI 10 water temperature sensor of the cooling system, open circuit. Check the temperature sensor (0-100 ohms) check the connections between the unit and the component (9, 37), test control unit. Active.

 

SPN 4014 FMI 1 Proportional solenoid, the current is too strong. Check the proportional solenoid (20-100 ohms) check the cable connections between the unit and the component (4, 3) check the control unit.  Active.

FMI 2 Proportional solenoid, the current is too weak. Check the proportional solenoid (20-100 ohms) check the cable connections between the unit and the component (4, 3) check the control unit. Active.

 

SPN 4015 FMI 1 voltage on the control terminal block is too strong. Check the voltage at terminal block (31, 53), check the control unit. Active.

FMI 2 voltage on the control terminal block is too weak. Check the voltage at terminal block (31, 53) (Fuse F86 10 A), check the control unit. Active.

SPN 4016 FMI 3 Inconsistent position of the handle. Perform testing pen using a PC, check the handle, check the cable connections between the unit and the component (15, 16, 17, 42, 43), check the control unit. Problem handle. Active.

 

SPN 4017 FMI 0 Error counter of hours worked. Disable contact, turn again and repeat the test. When the stability of fault replace the control unit. The repairs. Active.

 

SPN 4018 FMI 0 Internal memory error. Disable contact, turn again and repeat the test. When the stability of fault replace the control unit. The repairs. Active.

 

SPN 4022 FMI 0 Internal error. Disable contact, turn again and repeat the test. When the stability of fault replace the control unit. Active.

 

SPN 4023 FMI 4 There are no posts from blokaABS / EBS. Check fault ABS / EBS unit, check the connection to the CAN bus EBS unit, the resistance between the two wires (22, 49) 60 th. Manual mode. Active.

 

SPN 4024 FMI 0 buffer memory is full. Disable contact, turn again and repeat the test. When the stability of fault replace the control unit. Active.

 

SPN 4025 FMI 9 Problem CAN bus circuit. Check the CAN bus connection, the resistance between the two wires (22, 49) 60 ohms, test the control unit.  Active.

 

SPN 4026 FMI 4 There are no posts from blokaABS / EBS. Check fault ABS / EBS unit, check the connection to the CAN bus EBS unit, the resistance between the two wires (22, 49) 60 th. Manual mode. Active.

 

SPN 4027 FMI 0 Malfunction of CAN bus, the open circuit. Check the CAN bus connection, the resistance between the two wires (22, 49) 60 th. Active.

 

SPN 4028 FMI 4 There are no messages from the EECU unit. Check fault EECU unit, check the connection to the CAN bus EECU unit, the resistance between the two conductors 60 om (contacts 22, 49; wires 0012 and 0013). Manual mode. Active.

 

SPN 4029 FMI 4 There are no messages from the tachograph unit. Check the fault of the tachograph unit, check the connection of CAN bus with a tachograph, the resistance between the two conductors 60 om (contacts 22, 49). Manual mode. Active.

 

SPN 4033 FMI 4 There are no posts from blokaAstronic or VECU unit. Check fault Astronic iliVECU unit, if the unit Astronic ping CAN bus with Astronic unit, check the connection to the CAN bus VECU unit, the resistance between the two conductors 60 om (contacts 22, 49). Active.

 

SPN 4036 FMI 4 There are no posts from VECU unit. Check fault VECU unit, check the connection to the CAN bus VECU unit, the resistance between the two conductors 60 om (contacts 22, 49). Manual mode. Active.

 

SPN 4037 FMI 4 There are no posts from VECU unit. Check fault VECU unit, check the connection to the CAN bus VECU unit, the resistance between the two conductors 60 om (contacts 22, 49). The repairs. Active.

 

SPN 4047 FMI 10 No message "+" main switch. Check the main switch check the cable connections between the unit and the component (54, 55) (10A fuse F28), check out the control unit. The repairs. Active.
