Code / Description

 

3000

 

Outside temperature sensor

 

The fault state:

 

FMI 5, a short to ground

 

FMI 12, a break or short circuit to + UBat

 

Cause: faulty external temperature sensor, wiring harness malfunction.

 

Remedy: Use a PC, check the accuracy of the signal, check external temperature sensor, check the wiring, check the connectors.

With the help of a PC, check the accuracy of the "Outside temperature sensor" signal.

 

Resistance Measurements:

Evaporator temperature sensor
