Mercedes-Benz Accelo is a light hoodless truck with a streamlined cab, manufactured since 2003.
The family includes models 715C and 915C. The development and production of Accelo took six years. A total of $ 160 million was invested in the project.
The cabin was designed by the British company Mayflower Vehicle Systems in agreement with DaimlerChrysler.
In addition to South America, the truck is supplied to the Middle East and Africa.
The trucks are equipped with diesel engines with a capacity of 150 and 156 hp. from the Sprinter and Vario series, manual 5-speed transmission, suspension on parabolic springs, power steering and all disc brakes.
